The Center for Educational Studies and Research dedicated a panel discussion on education in Mauritania this month to the subject of school, vocational and university guidance in Mauritania. Discussions focused on finding answers to the following questions:

What are the stages in which pupils and students are directed to specific study streams?

What are the criteria used to guide pupils and students to specific study streams?

What are the parties responsible for directing pupils and students to specific study tracks?

Where are we, in this area, in comparison to the practices of successful international educational systems?
