On April the 1st, 2018, the Center for Pedagogical Studies and Research (CPSR) was inaugurated. The CPSR is a private institution concerned with public and private educational affairs. It combines scientific research and training in Mauritania. It specializes in the preparation of theoretical research, conducting field studies, training of workers in the education and services sector, advising the educational and service institutions and developing methods, based on the latest knowledge and methods. The Center aspires to be the primary reference in the educational research and training of educational institutions in Mauritania and all institutions and international organizations interested in the field of education.
